Lupita Kirklin, a near-death experiencer
and member of IANDS since 2008. She has had several NDEs but in 1982 she suffered an accident that led her to clinical death at age 16 in Acapulco Mexico. She practiced as a licensed psychologist in Mexico for 6 years and she is currently pursuing her second doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. Her doctoral dissertation addresses the topic of near-death experience from a Jungian Perspective in which she researches the integration of the NDE into the survivors' life utilizing dreams and active imagination. She will soon defend her dissertation and earn her doctoral degree by the end of May of 2012. Dr. Moody is her mentor as he is part of her dissertation committee. She is passionate about the near-death studies and plans to make it her lifelong career. Her 1982 story is found in a documentary by Paul Perry called The Afterlife.
