January 8, 1991, I was deep in the darkness of a cycle depression that came every January and June. With memories of childhood abuse at heightened level and forgotten, suppressed memories emerging, I chose to end my life. The extraordinary near-death experience that I had and the new, expanded view of myself, of God, of my purpose and the nature of all things spiritual in this plain gave me access to healing and living a rich, empowering life.
