Kim Clark Sharp - Post-suicide grief is complicated
Grief following the death of a loved one who has committed suicide is usually complicated. The stories of people who have had a near-death experience in the course of their suicide attempt can be used to ameliorate some of the grief felt by loved ones of those who have taken their own lives. The presenter has decades of testimonies from suicide-related NDErs which she has used in clinical practice to console these mourners. In this session, many of the attempted suicide near-death experiences that have been used as comfort will be presented.
