Out-of-Body Activity in CO

I was working in Denver, Colorado at the time. I think it had a lot to do with my location. A lot of strange things happened to me while living there. For example, dreams about places that I didn't know existed but later discovered they did. In addition some slight precognition and telepathy both before and after Denver, but never as strong as being there.

I was asleep in my apartment having a disturbing dream. I decided to wake up as I often do. I woke up (or so I thought). Since the dream was disturbing, I decided to turn on the light. When I turned it on, the lamp was on the wrong side of the bed. I was still stuck in the dream! Then I woke up again, but this time the lamp was on the correct side, but wouldn’t turn on. I tried the light in other rooms, and none of them worked. Then I realized I was probably having an OBE. (A Native American woman once told me if you have an OBE go to a mirror or something like it and try to see what you look like, and that would be your "true self.") So, I went back into the bedroom. I stood by the dresser that had a mirror above it, but the room was too dark. I leaned closer, so close that I could actually feel the hard cold surface of the mirror. I then realized I was too close so I backed up a little. What I saw: a young man in old-fashioned clothes! It frightened me. I jumped, startled. As I jumped my hip bumped the corner of the dresser so hard it hurt. And I fell to the floor. I thought I was going to have a bruise on my hip. Gradually as my "consciousness" returned to bed, the hurt in my hip subsided slowly. The more awake I got, the less it hurt. Once fully awake in bed, I realized that I had forgotten to look at the bed to see if my body was there…so I could prove to myself that it was a genuine OBE.

In the same apartment a couple of months later, I had a friend from Sweden visiting. She's a bit psychic. One night I dreamed that I was in the room where she was sleeping. I looked at her asleep, but there was a noise--like a TV with no channel tuned into it (white noise). I pulled the electrical cord out of the socket, but the noise was still there. The next morning my friend told me she had awoken "feeling" that there was something in the room by the TV. When she realized it was nothing threatening, she went back to sleep. The TV was still plugged in that morning.
