I was in the ER lying on a bed. I had needles, IV, and pain meds going through my body when I told the nurse I think I am going to throwup. She handed me a plastic contenter. According to the nurse, as I sat up to take the container, my eyes rolled back in my head and I fell back on the bed. My heart stop and I flatlined.

After this I didn't know where I was, but it was pure white and all my pain was gone. I never felt so good. It was the purest pleasure, which I can't really describe. The feeling is beyond anything I have ever experienced. Then I felt myself being pulled back to life. It was like the way people on the space shuttle return into the pull of gravity. I thought I was screaming and fighting, but when I awoke I had done nothing of the kind. There was pain and feelings of my body. The nurse taking care of me said, "Don't do that again, I have never seen anyone die." I said, "I will try not to." Finally my pain stopped and they took me to the main hospital intensive care. I was feeling great.

The next day the doctor did a heart cath on me and said, "I don't believe it, you have the heart of a twenty year old." A week later I saw him in his office. He closed my files and said, "I won't need to see you anymore." I like to tell people that God sent me back. When reaching for a sixty year old heart, he grabbed a twenty year old heart by mistake, but it was too late to take it back! So here I am among the living, knowing that death is a wonderful thing. I hope to stick around for a while longer.
