Spinning in the Tunnel

I had a severe urinary tract infection and was in a lot of pain from it. I went to my family doctor who tested my urine which had a lot of infection and blood in it. The doctor gave me a strong shot of antibiotic (Penicillin) then walked out of the room. The nurse had also left the room. I was sitting up at that time. I felt faint and clammy then passed out. I remember I could not scream for anyone but tried to anyway.

I floated up out of my body toward the ceiling and corner of the room. I saw a tunnel and began spinning in the tunnel. It was white all around me. I then heard the nurse come in to check on me and she saw me passed out. She ran out screaming for the doctor. He came in and ordered her to go get the Adrenaline shots. She came back in and they both sat me up and began shooting me in the arms with those shots. (I was dripping with sweat and I remember I had on a grey cotton shirt that was wet when I left the doctor.)

As I came to, I came out of the corner in the room and tunnel and went back into my body. I remember the doctor telling me that he also lost me and it scared him to death. At the time, I did not understand what occurred to me, but I was frightened and wanted to get out of there quickly. They told me to sit and relax to make sure I was okay.

At the time, I did not know what had happened to me or about NDEs until five years later. I watched a TV show that explained NDEs. Then I began talking about it. Someone mentioned they also had a NDE.

I will never forget it and I know for a fact, without a doubt, that my soul or spirit left my body that day. My belief in God has strenghtened and I knew that he was not ready to take me yet!

Ancestors Care About Us and Our World

Diagnosed terminal and in and out of consciousness for several weeks, I had been told there was no help on too many planes to explain here. Regardless, I was 39 days into a 30 day life expectancy. I weighed not only the opportunity for assistance but the practicality of it as well. I slept for hours during the days and nights. I was sicker than sick. My doctors later explained that was the sickest any human being could ever be. I was at the doorway of death in both mind and body. Most of my memory of those days are limited to say the least. As are any recollections of any dreams. Dreams were just seemingly non-existent for me and honestly still are rare today. But the one memory and the eventsĀ

Grandma heard me!

I crashed my bicycle when several friends and I were playing follow the leader and we were jumping a manhole cover. I flipped over and landed on my head. I can remember leaving my body and seeing myself on the ground there was no pain but I felt panic because I didn't understand what was going on.

Wow! It's great to be alive!

Working as a technology director for a school district, I was running data cables into a conference room through the ceiling. The ceiling was a suspended ceiling with approximately 4 feet of room from ceiling to building roof. On a ladder, with my head (about eye level) inside a removed ceiling tile, I noticed a red clad electrical wire with a bare wire exposed, coming out of a conduit. Apparently it was hot since I was found on my back on the floor, with ceiling tile debris around me, and the fiberglass ladder twisted in the corner.
