An Angelic Visit

I remember I was having a horrible panic attack -- the worst yet not too long after my father died. I was in bed and it was dark. I was shaking in fear. Suddenly there was a luminescent being at the foot of the bed. I believed it to be an angel.

I remember the being was brighter than anything could possibly be, brighter and purer light than sunshine. I was initially afraid, but it told me not to be afraid. At that point I suddenly felt no fear but the most amazing feeling of love. I can't describe that love. It is a kind of love I don't think exists here on earth, at least not in that powerful of a form. I also felt completely and absolutely at peace. I think he then told me some incredible things that I can't remember. The angel even told me I wouldn't remember most of what he said or even specifically what he looked like. After that, he told me to go to sleep and he would stay there and look after me until I fell asleep. Almost instantly when I laid down I fell asleep.

In the morning I woke up and knew I hadn't dreamed the experience. It was more real than any other event of my life. Since then I have found myself reflecting on the experience often and very glad for it but it also left me with so many questions about spirituality and the afterlife. I also find myself afraid to tell many people for fear they will think I'm nuts. I'm glad to be telling you.

Ancestors Care About Us and Our World

Diagnosed terminal and in and out of consciousness for several weeks, I had been told there was no help on too many planes to explain here. Regardless, I was 39 days into a 30 day life expectancy. I weighed not only the opportunity for assistance but the practicality of it as well. I slept for hours during the days and nights. I was sicker than sick. My doctors later explained that was the sickest any human being could ever be. I was at the doorway of death in both mind and body. Most of my memory of those days are limited to say the least. As are any recollections of any dreams. Dreams were just seemingly non-existent for me and honestly still are rare today. But the one memory and the eventsĀ

Grandma heard me!

I crashed my bicycle when several friends and I were playing follow the leader and we were jumping a manhole cover. I flipped over and landed on my head. I can remember leaving my body and seeing myself on the ground there was no pain but I felt panic because I didn't understand what was going on.

Wow! It's great to be alive!

Working as a technology director for a school district, I was running data cables into a conference room through the ceiling. The ceiling was a suspended ceiling with approximately 4 feet of room from ceiling to building roof. On a ladder, with my head (about eye level) inside a removed ceiling tile, I noticed a red clad electrical wire with a bare wire exposed, coming out of a conduit. Apparently it was hot since I was found on my back on the floor, with ceiling tile debris around me, and the fiberglass ladder twisted in the corner.
