Employee Assistance Administrator Dr. Kelly is a licensed clinical professional counselor who, for almost 30 years, has practiced mental health counseling, including specialized services to emergency service workers and medical personnel. He will speak during Segment 2 on "Sense of Contact with the Deceased: Experiences of Police, Firefghters, and Emergency Medical Personnel." Dr. Kelly has degrees in counseling psychology and education. Since 1977, he has provided and managed Employee Assistance Programs that included regular work with death and dying. For seven of those years, he served as Chief of the Health and Safety Branch for the United States Marshals Service, and for 13 years, he served with the Psychological Services Unit of the Massachusetts State Police, from which he retired as Detective Lieutenant. Dr. Kelly is experienced in the training of professional and pastoral counselors. |
